In the Blink of an Eye: Three years after the drowning of his live-in girlfriend, Kristin, Paine Landry is forced to return to Lily Dale, N.Y., a gated resort community of spiritualists and mediums, to settle his former mother-in-law's affairs. Her equally bizarre drowning there makes staying in the dilapidated Victorian inherited by his blind, six-year-old daughter trying for the skeptical Paine, who wants nothing more than to learn the truth behind their deaths. When Paine's daughter and Julia Garrity, Kristin's erstwhile childhood friend and a practicing psychic medium, admit to "seeing" a tortured ghost in the house, Paine decides to sell it back to its former owner, an elderly man whose only wish is to bring his dying wife "home." Too late, Paine and Julia realize that the ghost was trying to warn them of a dangerous force, the same force that claimed Kristin and her mother.

My Thoughts: LOVED IT! It was the first time I read one of her books and I'll definitely be reading the others. I loved the unpredicability of this story! The secondary characters were as intriguing as the primary ones and everything was woven together perfectly.

She Loves Me Not: The domestic dramas of a single mother who has been targeted by a killer. Ever since Rose Larabee lost her husband and underwent heart transplant surgery, she's had troubles making ends meet. But now she has a new problem - a stalker who sends her eerie, heart-shaped gifts. Rose's friends try to convince her that the gifts may not be as sinister as she suspects, but when her boss, bookstore owner Luke Pfleuger, turns up dead on her lawn, it becomes clear that her "secret admirer" may be a murderer.

My Thoughts: Loved it! Wendy is my new favorite suspense writer. I read her first book in three days and this one was no different. Move over, Mary Higgins Clark.
