St-Louis, Missouri - Seven weeks later…"Come on sleepyhead, wakey wakey." Kevin blew in his wife's ear and grinned when she made a face in her sleep. "I know you're almost awake," he said and ran a hand down her body. When he got to the triangle between her legs, he gently inserted a finger. Stacy bucked and let out a moan. Her eyes popped open and she felt another finger go inside her. "Kev…" His named ended in a moan. She grabbed his hand and withdrew it. "I'd prefer the real thing," she whispered. Kevin propped himself up so he was hovering above her. "So would I," he said and entered her in one swift plunge. They moved together frantically until they both surrendered in unison. Stacy stretched luxuriously and grinned at her husband. "I like waking up like that. Keep doing that and I'll never have an affair." "Hey!" Kevin bit her playfully. Stacy turned towards him, hooking one leg over his. "Today's the day."Kevin beamed. Today was the day. He was finally going to get his son. The door opened and a four-year old hurricane blew into the room. Kevin and Stacy quickly covered themselves. "Chandler Ryan, didn't I tell you to knock?" Stacy demanded. "Maybe." Chandler stood at the foot of the bed, batting his not-so-innocent eyes. "But you said I had to get up early and get dressed cause we was going on a plane." He did a pirouette. "See, I'm dressed and you're still in bed." He pulled at the covers, but his parents held on to them. "Get up, get up! I wanna fly!" Stacy couldn't help but smile. He was so adorable. "Alright bean, go watch Blues Clues and we'll get dressed, ok?" Chandler nodded. He opened his arms and flew out of the room making airplane noises. "We have to put a lock on that door," Kevin remarked. He threw the covers off and strode to the dresser. "Chaney's right, darlin'. It's time to fly."Half an hour later, after a hot shower and another round of hot sex, they found Chandler sitting on the living room floor watching TV. "Hey bean, we're almost ready to go." Stacy clicked off the television.Chandler looked up at his mother. "I'm gonna have a baby brother today, right?"Kevin picked Chandler off the floor and held him on his hip. "Yup! His name's Devin. You're gonna make a great big brother, aren't you?""The best!" Chandler exclaimed. "Make that twice a big brother," Stacy chimed in. Kevin's head snapped up. "What?!"Stacy wrapped her arms around her two men. "I'm pregnant."Kevin let out a loud whoop and almost dropped Chandler. "You hear that buddy? We're gonna have another baby!" He set Chandler down and crushed Stacy against him. Tears poured down both their faces. "It's not too soon?" Kevin suddenly looked worried. "Yes, but it happened, Kev." She smiled. "And I don't plan on losing this one."Chandler tugged on Kevin's pant leg. He wanted in the hug. Kevin pulled him in and smiled down at them. "I love the two of you more than anything in this world." He bent down to Stacy's stomach. "And you too, Mystery Richardson." He clapped his hands. "Let's go get Devin and bring him home!"
Tampa, Florida - Nine months laterNick was shaking as he stood at the altar and waited for his bride. The organist started playing Here Comes the Bride. Nick straightened up. Kiri was always telling him not to slouch. Today was an important day - the most important day of his life - and he wanted it to be as perfect as his bride. The last nine months had been anything but easy. Kiri was determined to walk again and spent three hours a day, five days a week working with the physical therapist that Nick had hired. She also spent seven hours of those same five days with a private tutor. Mr. Healey was demanding, but that's what made him the most in-demand private tutor in Tampa. She was learning everything that she would be learning if she were attending a university. Technically this was her sophomore year and she secretly hoped she would be walking by the time she finished the year. She wanted to attend the University of Tampa to finish her Law degree.Nick had left to do a tour without her and it had killed him. Dani and Stacy had offered to move in with Kiri while the Boys were on tour. Stacy had brought Chandler and Devin with her. Little Devin seemed to be adapting to his new life and he and Chandler fought like brothers. Nick spent his days off jetting to Tampa to see Kiri and twice he had chartered a plane so she could come and spend time with him. No, those nine months hadn't been easy, but they had been worth it. Nick would do it all over again just to see the beautiful smile on his Kiwi's face. He looked at his friends and family sitting in the pews. Kevin and Stacy occupied an entire row with Chandler, Devin and their precious five-week old daughter Gabrielle. AJ, Lisel, Howie and his girlfriend Linda were sitting directly behind the Richardsons. Howie and Linda had met seven months ago at a bereavement support group meeting. Linda had lost her fiancé to a brain aneurysm. They had helped each other deal with and work through their grief of losing a loved one. At some point, while the wounds were healing, they had fallen in love. Nick winked at Howie, who glanced at Linda and smiled happily. Brian stood beside him, grinning like a cheetah. He was so proud of his little brother. He never thought that Nick would be getting married before him. But it was happening. He had good news of his own though. He and Dani were engaged. He'd finally found the nerve to pop the question. They were going to be married in eight months in her hometown. His face lit up as he watched her walk down the aisle as Kiri's Maid of Honor. She was so beautiful, his Danielle. Nick's mouth dropped open and a loud cheer echoed throughout the church. Kiri stood at the end of the aisle, wobbling unsteadily on crutches. Where's her wheelchair? he wondered and shook his head excitedly. Who cares! She's walking! Kiri had sworn that she'd never use crutches. His heart swelled as he watched her approach him, her father's arm around her. They couldn't take their eyes off one another. Her father helped her until she reached Nick, he then carefully took her crutches away as she wrapped her arm around Nick's waist. "Baby, are you gonna be ok?" He was thrilled, but he didn't want her to fall. Kiri smiled. "As long as you're holding me, I'll be fine." The priest started the ceremony. When he got to the vows, Kiri cleared her throat. "I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for you," she said, looking into Nick's eyes. She could see his love for her shining in his eyes. "You are my love, my life, my heart, my soul, my joy, my tears, my laughter, my sunshine, my everything." Tears clouded Nick's vision. "And you are mine, Kiwi. You make me whole. You complete me." The result of sheer will.
