"If I could have one lifetime wish, one wish that would come true, I'd pray to God for yesterday so I could hold you once again." At age 27 Prima Ballerina Ashley Johnson is retiring. As a favor to her manager/agent, she takes on a final job -- dancing in a video with The Backstreet Boys. She takes the job only because it brings her back to her hometown of Orlando, Florida. Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson finds himself deeply attracted to this mysterious dancer who refuses to give him the time of day. Ashley wants no part of him, but he eventually breaks down her defences and love starts to blossom, but after a minor accident during rehearsals for the video, Ashley ends up hospitalized and Kevin learns her horrible secret. A story of courage, friendship, and true love. This was my first BSB fan fic. Written October to December 1998.
