1. When are you going to update your story?
I update when I can. Sometimes it's every week, sometimes it's every two weeks. It depends how much I've written and if my proofreader has sent the chapters back to me. I have a lot going on and writing fanfic has taken a backseat lately.
2. Can you write a visual for me or put me in a story?
I really don't write many visuals and when I have, it's usually been with me as the main character. I've written a few for a couple of friends, but it was a gift for them. I really don't want to write visuals and if I don't know you, it makes it even harder. As for putting you in my stories, I don't do that. The characters in most of my stories are fictional. I use a few friends for background characters. *Leading ladies* Shae-Lyn, Ashleigh, Kellie, Grace and Cassandra are all fictional characters that I've created from my mind. The only one that's close to real is Shae-Lyn who is modeled after yours truly. The same as for the visuals, I don't use people I don't know in my stories. The one other reason I don't is that I tried it once and the girl I was using didn't like what I was doing to her character and kept bitching to me about it. So I quit doing that. Sorry.
3. Can we be penpals?
Unfortunately, I don't have time for penpals. I barely have time to chat with my friends online. :( I LOVE getting emails and I read them all. I answer most of my mail, even though it may take me a couple of weeks. You can write to me, but I won't always answer right away.
4. Can I add your stories to my site?
No, but you can link back to this site. Please link the main page, not the stories page. Thanks.
5. Can you help me with my fan fic site or help me write?
Honestly, I'd love to help, if I had the time. But I really don't. I'm sorry. :-(
6. How did you get the idea for each of your stories?
My Heart was a brainstorm. This was back in Oct. 98 when I was an Internet newbie and didn't even know that there was such a thing as BSB fan fiction. Someone asked me if I wrote fanfic and I was like "No way." I hadn't written a thing since graduating from HS. I read a few stories and for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about writing. I was lying in bed one night when this idea just hit me! It was like POOF! And it was a Kevin story. No one else could have been the lead BSB for that story. I got up and went to write down everything that I had thought of. Now when I go back and read it, I find some parts very cheesy and you can def. tell that a fan wrote it (mainly the Nick & Marie parts...lol) which is why some major editing will have to be done before I send it out to publishers.
One Last Cry was inspired by some books I've read by VC Andrews. If you've ever read her books than you'll know what I mean. This was probably the hardest and most confusing story I've ever worked on and I believe it took me the longest, although that's debatable. The actual idea I had included incest, but when I got farther into writing it, I couldn't go through with it so I changed my original idea. Enough fans were grossed out when they thought that Nick was sleeping with his sister. lol
Still Waters Run Deep: This is a hard one to talk about. It's very personal to me. I wanted to write a story that was very real. One that dealt with real life, issues that everyone faces in today's society, and of course things that go on in the world of entertainment.
Deadly Intentions: This story started out as the Diary of Howie D. I found it too hard to write from his point of view so I put the story on hold for a few months, revamped it and came back with DI. What I thought would be a boring story actually turned into a good thriller. I was proud of how it turned out. The only thing that saddens me is that it's the story that's gotten the least amount of hits and I know that's because it's a Howie story. If you're a fan of my writing then I'm sure you've read it, but I can tell that a lot of fans haven't read it because of who the lead Boy is and that troubles me. I know if I put Nick in the lead, it would have as many hits as SWRD. Poor Howie.
Even Angels Fall: I never thought this story would be as popular as SWRD, but it's gained it's own fanbase and many fans have stated that they love it more than SWRD. I always planned a sequel to SWRD and the idea of EAF was to concentrate on Nick's life and his issues as a big star, drugs, and family troubles. Please don't think it portrays the Carters as they really are or that Nick is on drugs. It's only MY POINT OF VIEW on certain situations.
Sheer Will: The idea for this story came to me after I saw a TV movie about an earthquake and how it affected people's lives. I wanted to write something that involved all five Boys. I didn't get as much feedback as I'd hoped though so it was rather disappointing for me.
Once Upon a Dream: The Nick and Shae Series was developed when I got the idea for this third installment. These characters have become an important part of my life and I can't seem to let them go. This story really delved into Nick and Shae's turbulent friendship and ensuing relationship, but there are still secrets between them. They will be revealed in the next installment.
7. Did Nick really write those poems?
As far as I know, he did. Sometime in 1997 while they were in England.
8. Can you email Nick and tell him to write me?
Please READ my disclaimer -- I DO NOT KNOW NICK nor do I have ANY contact with him!
9. Does Nick have a girlfriend? Or any emails related to his personal life.
Please DO NOT email me asking me such questions. Thank you.
